Sri T.R.Thulasiram- Our Founder & Mentor

Born on 1st August 1922 on the Visakha star day, Sri T.R.Thulasiram got educated in Madurai and practiced as a Chartered Accountant since 1948. His father Sri T K Rama was well-known public figure, Gandhian, popular congress leader, an Ex-MLA(elected member of the state parliament), mayor of Madurai city and a reputed Nationalist of the freedom movement of the country. Sri Thulasiram had in 1957 experiences of the inner blissful Light of Grace, followed by deep Peace and Ananda. He took mantra initiation in 1958 from Swami Ramdas in Kanhangad, Mangalore. Later, inspired by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, he joined their Ashram in 1969 – the year of the descent of Superman Consciousness or rather “the New Consciousness

When he referred to the Mother in 1970 about ” the Vast Grace-Light” (Arut Perum Jothi) of Swami Ramalingam alias Vallar, She spontaneously observed that she liked very much the Grace-Light and it is essentially the Grace in its supreme state, and by its material action on her physical body since recently with the coming of the New Consciousness, the Grace-Light becomes slightly colored, golden with rosy within; and that Swami Ramalingam was directly in contact with the Supramental.

After the publication of the author’s magnum opus “Arut Perum Jothi and Deathless Body” by the Madras University, Swami Ramalingam (alias Vallar) visited him in 1981 in his residential house of the ashram and gave him the vision of His luminous and New deathless body with dynamic radiation of transparent white Grace-Light in his body and simultaneously all around it, from over the head to feet down below. The Mother came the next day in her luminous body and gave him the Mantra of Arut Perum Jothi.

In more than three decades of Ashram life, Sri Thulasiram made research on a scientific basis in many fields of spiritual discipline and notably in the spiritual-physical powers of the well-known god-men of the world from the Vedic to the modern times, as shown by or felt in their respective magnets duly consecrated to them each. This led to the greatest discovery in the spiritual history of the world. That is, Swami Ramalingam uniquely realized a highest range of divine powers in his soul, nature as well as in his proclaimed deathless body, which is filled with Grace-Light. His magnets and pictures and his Mantras of Grace-Light amply prove this, and hence they can be used for our integral yoga and for our body-transformation, and one shall lovingly remember Him always with Grace-Light to get success in this.

The Mother and Sri Aurobindo and a few other yogis have come to bear since recently such a highly increased Grace-power in their atmosphere due to the fact of the settled presence of Swami Ramalingam (alias Vallar) in their ashrams too since 1989 to 1994. The author has served as a humble instrument for this divine mission; but this is a new trend in the Supramental evolution whereby any god-man with spiritual realization, past or living, would get blessed with Vallar’s super Grace-Power for the purpose of a divine collaboration in helping devotees for their spiritual evolution and for body-power transformation.

Sri Thulasiram has brought to light the divine role Swami Ramalingam (Vallar) is playing sine 1874 and even now by his Presence and Powers around each human being and in international forums, UNO, the Olympic etc., in order to unite the human kind and that on a spiritual basis too. His discoveries are scientifically based on spiritual-physical magnets and their powers.

All of them had visited Vadalur and Siddhi Valagam and stayed one night at Siddhi Valagam, where Swami Ramalingam had dematerialized his Supramental Deathless body. Sri Giridharilal, the author of “Silence Speaks” is a highly realized soul. Sri Ooran Adigalar is a disciple of Vallalar, who had published the original ‘Thiruarutpa(Vallalar’s Divine Tamil poems and literature) and written various research books on Vallalar’s Deathless Body in Tamil.

THULASIRAMJI DEPARTS…

A Tribute to the Vivekananda of the 21st Century in Synthesizing the Three Great Supramental-Spiritual Oceans of Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga, Swami Ramalingam’s Samarasa Suddha Sanmarga Sangam (path of Vast Grace-Light or Arut Perum Jyothi) and Thirumoolar’s Thirumandiram (Tamil Supramental Veda of the Deathless Divine Body).

Sri T.R.Thulasiram completed his earthly sojourn silently around 1pm on October 8, 2007 (after Vallalar’s Birthday on 5th Oct. and also the birth of this website) Monday, at the age of 85, in the Ashram nursing home in Pondicherry, where he was being lovingly treated by Dr.Datta (the Chief Doctor of Sri Aurobindo Ashram), Dr. Gayathri and their team, for his physical ailments associated with the ageing process. At the time of his departure he was fully conscious despite the fact that he had been passing through periods of prolonged suffering, the beginning of which was caused by a mild stroke five years ago. Quite significantly, five days before his departure, he had visited Sri Aurobindo’s room to have his final dharshan and permission from his Masters for whom he had served faithfully for nearly four decades.

Whenever Sri T.R.Jawaharlal and few others visited Thulasiramji during his long stay in the Ashram hospital, intense Divine Vibrations could be concretely felt in his body, in and around his bed (including on the steel cot and rods) at the Ashram hospital and this experience was more pronounced during his final moments in the hospital, which continued till the grave yard on 9th Oct.07, throughout the simple cremation procedures. His body was kept at his Ashram residence at 35, Rue Saint Louis Street, where he had been living since August 1973, in his bedroom, exactly near the marked space (named as V-Square or Vallalar Square – the marked floor-space where Vallalar stood and fixed therein a highest divine integral Grace-power, a Spiritual to Physical divine power), where Swami Ramalingam appeared to him in an actual vision of His re-formed radiant, deathless triple body (Suddha Deha, Pranava Deha and Gnana Deha) and The Divine Mother appeared to him in her Golden Luminous body and gave the Tamil mantra of ‘Arut Perum Jyothi or Vast Grace-Light. Thulasiramji’s colleagues from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, including a Trustee from Sri Aurobindo Ashram Trust, paid their last respects to this “Mother’s Accountant,” who had devotedly served her nearly for four decades, and was seen diligently signing the Ashram Accounts until recently with his left hand (since his right hand was little crippled due to the paralytic attack he had trained his left hand to continue doing his writing tasks). One of his colleagues in the Ashram audit department, Ms. Krishna Bei recollected her memoirs of Thulasiram’s first meeting with the Divine Mother in connection with an audit work, where the Mother was seen pouring her concentrated looks of Grace for several minutes continuously into Thulasiram’s eyes. The atmosphere was so intense that Ms. Krishna Bei also felt the Concrete Divine Vibrations radiating in the Mother’s look.

Several Sanmargam followers and devotees of Swami Ramalingam paid their last respects to this Spiritual Sanmargi-scientist, who brought a new perspective to the spiritual side of Suddha Sanmargam by: (a) discovering the Universal Grace-Rule of Vallalar after the dematerialization of his Triple deathless bodies and entering into all the physical bodies of human beings in Jan. 1874; (b) discovering the APJA (Arut Perum Jyothi Andavar or Vast Grace-Light) Yoga Spiritual Techniques in manifesting Vallalar’s Grace-Light deathless body powers in the mind, life, body and environment for the individual and collective supramental-spiritual evolution; (c) discovering that Vallalar is actively functioning behind the World Governments and International bodies like U.N.O., Olympic Council, etc., for the purpose of World Union, Unity of religions, Scientific, economic and social progress of mankind etc; (d) discovering that Vallalar’s photo without the usual religious symbol of sacred ash on his mid -forehead radiates the highest spiritual powers and publishing the new Vallalar photos with the halo of Grace-Light around his body. Dr. N. Mahalingam, President of Ramalinga Mission, Chennai and Chief patron of Thulasiram’s books had sent a wreath despite his busy pre-occupation with the annual Vallalar-Gandhi Program in Chennai. The Joint Secretary of Pondicherry Sanmarga Sangam at Ambalathadiar Street ( Vallalar had stayed for some time in this street when he had visited Pondicherry in the 18th century) with his colleague paid his last respects by placing a wreath. Few associates of Thulasiramji had felt very powerful vibrations of Vast Grace-Light (Arut Perum Jyothi) radiating from his head.

As per Sri T.R.Thulasriam’s wish, his last rites were performed in the characteristic spiritual way of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, led by a team of inmates from the Ashram, by silently invoking the Divine consciousness of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The entire cremation process was non-religious, simple and done in an atmosphere of spiritual quietude and silence. One particular associate of Thulasiram felt the concrete Presence of The Mother when the body was being consumed by the flames, which continued until the end of the day.

In the morning hours of 10th Oct.07, the ashes of Sri T.R.Thulasiram’s body (which had been housing and experiencing the Grace-Light Consciousness of Vallalar for unknown number of years) were immersed in the sea of Pondicherry. It was like a Supramental drop merging with the Supramental sea.

Thulasiram had worked laboriously, day and night, and quite often even at the cost of his health, in writing and publishing such voluminous comparative research books and disseminating his spiritual findings to all the sections of people. Certainly it is a thankless Job, with no earthly rewards and often done against all odds. He had even politely refused to accept a PhD offered by the Madras University for his seminal comparative research book of Arut Perum Jyothi & Deathless Body, the first pioneering work of this kind in English on Swami Ramalingam and his Supramental Deathless Body in the comparative light of the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo. In his own words, he had done all these as a part of his spiritual sadhana by surrendering it to his Masters – Sri Aurobindo, The Mother and Swami Ramalingam. His only goal must have been to bring to light these unique and unparallel findings so that the entire human race could benefit from them. The above analogy of Vivekananda was originally coined by Prof. So.So.Me.Sundaram, M.Phil, a noted Tamil speaker and poet, at the book introductory speech in Madurai way back in 1982, wherein he remarked that Vivekananda brought out only one spiritual Ocean i.e. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa to the world, whereas Thulasiram had brought out a synthesis of three great Oceans I.e., Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga, Swami Ramalingam’s Suddha Sanmargam and Thirumoolar’s Thirumandiram.

PHOTOS WITH SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE:

A portion of the ashes was retained, which will be permanently kept at the shrine in Aumra Trust Office in Madurai.Sri T.R.Jawaharlal and Mr. Krishna Prem(on the right side), Members- Board of Trustees, Aumra Trust, coming out of the main gate of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, after meditating in Sri Aurobindo’s room with the urn containing Sri Thulasiram’s ashes.

Some of the associates of Sri T.R.Thulasiram have experienced an Intense Divine Presence and Vibration by touching his ashes. For the benefit of many, we are publishing the following photograph here, one can position the cursor over these ashes or directly touch the ashes-portion in the computer screen or simply gaze at it or touch the same in a print-out of this photo. Those with some sort of Inner Spiritual Opening can very well experience (Divine Willing) something deeply Divine.

Thulasiramji’s physical frame has passed away but his Supramental-Spiritual discoveries, studies and inner experiments, researches and revelations, sadhana and service will continue to guide the spiritual aspirants, in various forms including this website.

Let us recollect here the evolution-bidding words of Sri Aurobindo…

Samadhi shrine of Sri T.R.Thulasiram installed with the Relics of Sri Aurobindo
at the Auro-Ma-Ramalingam Trust Office in Madurai.

In his rare vision of dematerialization, Sri Gangadharan saw that an effulgent Truth- Light of Grace luminously burned the whole physical body of Swami Ramalingam until it became a form of pure white substance, radiating the Supramental Light. Both Sri Gangadharan and Sri Thulasiram, the two Supramental-spiritual sadhakas, who had experienced the rare visions of Swami Ramalingam, Sri Aurobindo and The Divine Mother, as well as realized the Grace-Light( Arut Perum Jyothi) at their soul level, wished that their physical bodies should be first given to the Agni (symbolic of the Grace Light) and their samadhis should be constructed with the remaining ashes. Accordingly, the gold-coated urn in this samadhi contains the remains of Sri Thulasiramji’s ashes, which had journeyed from his Ashram residence ( where Vallalar had appeared physically in his vision) to Sri Aurobindo’s room (where it was taken for the Master’s blessings) to the trust office in Madurai. More significantly, in this samadhi, the sand that was kept for 23 years over the body of Sri Aurobindo is installed. Hence, one could feel the powerful Supramental divine vibrations of Swami Ramalingam and Sri Aurobindo, constantly radiating from this samadhi shrine, making it as a spiritually uplifting place conductive for prayers and deep meditation. Sri Thulasiramji’s beloved guru, who had initiated him to the path of spirituality, Poojya Papa Swami Ramdas photo is installed on the samadhi as a mark of love, devotion and respect. All the books published by Sri Thulasiram can be seen at the bottom of the samadhi shrine. Years ago, the same place was graced by the visits of realized sages like Sri M.P.Panditji and Swami Saravanananda on different occassions.

Note on the Sand from Sri Aurobindo’s Samadhi (the Supramental Relics): When Sri Aurobindo left his body in 1950, the Samadhi was prepared and He was placed in a chamber in it about 8 feet below ground level. The chamber was a room, well-built in brick and cement and made quite waterproof. This chamber was then sealed with a cement concrete cover and this also was made waterproof. Over this another similar chamber was built in brick and cement and this also was made waterproof. This second chamber was then filled with clean washed sand and also was sealed with a cement concrete cover. Over this second cover, which was now about two feet above ground level, a thin layer of sand was placed to hold the flowers that are being placed on the Samadhi daily. The samadhi was then covered with marble for the portion above the ground and is as it appears now. After Mother left her body in 1973, her body in its rosewood box, was laid in the second chamber, above the chamber where is the body of Sri Aurobindo. The sand from this second chamber was removed and carefully collected. It is a sand that has lain undisturbed over the body of Sri Aurobindo for 23 years and so, we feel, is imbibed with his presence and atmosphere. It is this sand, from that second chamber, that is now being given for keeping at various centers.

MY RECENT VISION-EXPERIENCE OF THE SUPERIMPOSITION OF SRI THULASIRAM’S YOUTHFUL, VIBRANT AND GRACE-LIGHT FORM OF SUBTLE-PHYSICAL TRANSFORMED BODY ON MY PHYSICAL BODY

(by Sri T.R.Jawaharlal in his own words)

On 04-12-2007, I was sitting in my early morning meditation around 5.30 a.m. at my apartment in Pondicherry. To begin with, I was chanting the mantras of “I` – U` – A` – E` – Om” (Integral Bija Mantras of Superyogi Thirumoolar; refer Mantras for Transformation page) and “Thanip Perum Karunai….Thanip Perum Karunai…Arut Perum Jyothi…Arut Perum Jyothi… (Mantra of Swami Ramalingam chanted in the reverse order to experience the Integral harmony power; refer APJA Gayathri page), as suggested by Sri T.R.Thulasiram one year before, when he was admitted in the Ashram hospital in the Beach Road in Pondicherry, for the treatment of his old-age related ailments. Since then I have been chanting only these two mantras. The effect of these Mantras is that they always keep the consciousness inwardly. Several months ago, he had also indicated me that he wanted to leave his body hence the suggestion to chant these Mantras. I also saw that Sri Thulasiramji was chanting the Mantras in this form until his departure from body on 08th October 2007(three days after the Birthday of Swami Ramalingam). During his life time, he always guided me in the course of my sadhana and to follow him suit. In this session of my morning meditation, for the first time since his departure from earthly life, I have a vision-experience of Sri Thulasiramji’s transformed subtle-physical Grace-Light body, the form of which entered upon me, by superimposing itself on my physical body. For nearly an hour, I continuously experienced the vibrant calmness, great peace and enormous energy. This vision-experience of Superimposition of his Subtle-physical body on my physical body lasted for almost an hour. In this vision, he was seen in his youthful form of 50 years of age, with a glowing Grace-Light on his face. Because of this very powerful experience, I could not literally come out of my meditation until 8 a.m. The whole day continued with the same vibrant calmness and great peace until late night. Towards the end of this vision-experience, I also saw the form of Sri Aurobindo and Mother, as exactly in their picture at the Meditation hall in Sri Aurobindo Ashram, growing three times bigger in size, with Sri Thulasiram in front of them, conveying his gratitude and pranams to his Masters through my consciousness.

The Supramental Masters- Sri Aurobindo and The Divine Mother

From this vision-experience I understand that the process of Supramental transformation of the body irrevocably continues despite the seemingly outward physical sufferings due to the diseases of physical body and old age. In other words, the Grace-Light which has manifested in ones’ physical body-mind complex would continue its transformation work, unhindered by any outward physical sufferings and towards its intended trajectory of Supramental evolution and deathless body.

Swami Saravanananda
Swami Ramalingam

During my very recent visit to Satya Gnana Kottam, the Ashram of Swami Saravanananda in Dindigul near Madurai, I experienced the powerful presence of Grace-Light consciousness in his room. Even though Swami Saravanananda had left his physical body, at an advanced age and after some outward physical suffering, his powerful presence is more concretely felt as ever in his Ashram. Swami Saravananda, the contemporary of Sri Thulasiram, had achieved some notable transformation at his physical body level under the benign guidance of Swami Ramalingam. In one of my earlier visits several years ago, I had physically seen with my open eyes a brilliant flash of light emerged from his left eye. Some of his devotees also experienced occasional fragrance of camphor emanating in his presence, which is an indication of his bodily transformation.
