" O Jogi, do not depart,
I pray you, do not depart,
Behold, I fall at your feet, Your slave.
Strange is the path of Love and Devotion!
Explain to me its intricacies
Before you depart.
I am laying a pyre of fragrant aloe
And sandalwood.
Light it with your own hand
Before you depart.
When I am burnt to a heap of ashes,
Smear them on your body
Before you depart.
Says Mira to her Lord, the courtly Giridhara,
Let my Light dissolve in your light
Before you depart"

| Revered by her disciples and devotees as the "Shakthi (Divine Consort) of Sri Satya Sai Baba", Sri Vasantha Sai, called as "Amma", is a living epitome of " Radha Consciousness" and " Mira Bai of 21st century". Her quiet, unassuming, down to earth and simple personality masks her highest spiritual realization of Nayagi Bhava ( attitude and realization as Lord's consort). She expresses an intense inner divine love for her Lord Sri Satya Sai Baba and expressly manifests the spiritual symptoms of separation from her Divine lover. |
| Sri Vasantha Sai was born in the remote South Indian Village of Vadakampatti, Thirumangalam, near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. From her early years she did intense penance to unite with the Lord. Her life shows how the individual soul yearns to attain oneness with God. Sri Vasantha Sai now resides in "Mukti Nilayam Ashram" (abode of the highest spiritual liberation), near Madurai, Tamil Nadu. All her writings, poems and books clearly express her highest spiritual state of personal Divine Love-Relationship with her Lord Sri Satya Sai Baba. Through her constant inner communion with Sri Satya Sai Baba, and out of her Divine Motherly love and compassion, she guides and helps several spiritual aspirants in solving their spiritual problems. |
| Sri Satya Sai Baba has once told her that " Mukti Nilayam Ashram" is verily the Vaikunda(heaven) on earth. Any spiritual aspirant, with sufficient inner opening, can feel the powerful divine vibrations emanating in the ashram campus as well as at the " Mukti Stupi," - the universal pillar of Liberation -, which she had unveiled in 2006. Designed on the lines of instructions given by Sri Satya Baba, this "Muki Stupi or Pillar of Universal Liberation" symbolizes the universal union of purusha-prakriti or heaven-earth. |
| We can draw parallel comparison to her spiritual state with Vallalar's own state of Nayagi Bhava (attitude and realization as Lord's consort). |

| An experience of the Divine Descent at 2am on 2nd Sep.06 |
I am also grateful to Sri Sathya Sai Baba who Blessed me with His Darshan in my soul in the early morning hours, about 15 years back. I am sharing here my 2nd Sep.06 experience with an attitude that reflects a popular Spiritual adage in Tamil… "The Divine Bliss that I gained…so also the world at large shall gain…" |
| And before venturing to describe that experience, let me present here my own Kundalini experience which seems to have some connection to the Stupi, which is also known as Kundalini-Stupi |
| When I was in my 20's, on Vaikunda Ekadasi day*, I was chanting (mentally) the Manthra…"Om Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai ram" incessantly in the midnight during my meditation and at 4am I had my Kundalini (otherwise called 'Serpent Power') rising suddenly in jet speed, in serpentine zig-zag line through my Sushumnam Nadi (i.e. the central nervous channel invisible to naked eye) traversing through the Chakras from Mooladhara, Swadhishthana, Manipooraka and Ananhatha and I had to command it to stop at Anahatha centre (Chakra) because of the fear that my body had become weightless (like floating in air) with breathing came to a stall. |
| After 20 years of the said event, I had the same Kundalini experience continuing from the Anahatha centre to Sahasrara, by chanting the Manthra…
"ArutPerunJothi ArutPerunJothi ThanipPerungKarunai ArutPerunJothi"
Graced by Swami Ramalingam (popularly known as Vallalar) who aspired and attained the Supreme Divine integrally in all parts of His Being (Triple Transformation), culminating into the deathlessness of His physical body.
| Thus my Kundalini experience was completed and in my subtle-physical body…I could see visibly the serpent with five-headed hood with swift moving tongues in and out. |
| Having established in the firm faith that the same Supreme Sat-Chith-Ananda has been manifesting in/as multiple forms and names, I have come in conscious-contact with diverse Divine personalities and Blessed with various experiences. And thus in this scenario, I heard and visited Sri Vasantha Sai Amma in the year 2002, followed by few visits later. I have been experiencing a deep Spiritual Presence/Poise whenevere I visit Amma and meditate in Her physical presence. It is very clear to me that a High & Elevating Spiritual Consciousness is present in and around Amma, which anyone with some inner Spiritual opening can experience and enjoy. Also the environment in Mukthi Nilayam expresses Divine vibrations. |
| I was also invited for the Stupi inaugural function on 2nd Sep.06. A day before, I just heard about the likely appearance of a new star in the sky at 2am on 2nd Sep.06. As usual, I slept around 12 midnight at my home on 1st Sep.06 without any special remembrance about the Vasantha Sai star. And it so happened as follows… |
| Exactly at 2am, I was awakened from my sleep and to my surprise and excitement…with full awareness of open eyes…started experiencing massive Descent of Divine-Consciousness-Force, which was so vibrant, concrete and clear, and happening in the physically conscious reality (not in a dream-state). There was so massive Descent of Divine Consciousness through over my head and filled up the whole of my adhara from head to foot with Blissful Anandha and Energy, that could equal to a mass of 100 elephants' pulling power. |
| Though I could not physically identify the appearance of the new star, still this timely experience of Divine Descent convinced me beyond doubts, about the fulfillment of Sri Sathya Sai's declaration on Vasantha sai star and the significance of Mukthi Stupi, also called Kundalini-Stupi, bridging the heaven and earth. |
| Further, I attended the Stupi function on 2nd Sep.06 and could experience Divine vibrations by mere touch and sight of the Stupi. I am sure that there must be something Spiritually significant about this Stupi, which could play a prominent role in the World-Transformation, both at the individual and collective level. |
